In the spirit of this statement I thought to expand my view of the Dutch past windmills and wooden shoes by reading some books. I've decided to share what I've learned to give everyone a little background before I announce the European Dealer of LED Grow Master products. In an area about half the size of Louisiana live over 16 million of the tallest people on earth. They are not currently involved in any international disputes, but generously provide for humanitarian efforts. For instance, rebuilding New Orleans. of bars mounted side by side and end to end. With each bar 1 1/2" wide and 22" long, this layout puts bars on 3" centers with ends touching. The bars have a DC power connector on each end that allows power to flow through the bar for connection to another bar. The limit on this "chaining" is 4 bars in a series. There are a wide variety of power supplies available for use in chaining. For simple setups, you can just swap out the wall plug supplies for a single large supply without any additional cost. For larger setups, LED Grow Master can provide large supplies that will power many strings of 4 bars easily. Most of these power supplies will work on both 120vac and 240vac. When operated on 240vac, the cost of operation drops about 40% over the same setup running on 120vac. More options are available if would like to run "off the grid" using solar/battery setups. . LED Grow Master supplies commercial power supplies for larger setups. Our best value unit is 960 watts, which is about 100 Pro-5 bars. It's light weight and electronic, so it's not affected too much by the weight or price of copper. Commercial growers "should" use 3-phase power. The commercial power supplies we feature are 92% efficient, compared to only 80% for single-phase type units. Ideally, one should run our products on photovoltaic or wind power, as our products are the only plant growing option for operating off the grid. Efficiency relates to how much energy is lost during the convert from AC to DC, something which most commercial growers are sensitive to. For larger commercial setups requiring 1000 or more bars you have the option of special bar to bar cables as will as engineering drawings needed to show bar mounting and power drops. --CEO Solar Oasis The Learning Curve
of proper methods of growing under led grow lights. The future of the company quite literally depends on customers achieving success with the grow bars. Realizing this, LED Grow Master follows up on the progress of over 90% of their clients to make sure that expectations are met. The good news is that the overwhelming response is positive. It is a difficult task to convince a seasoned gardener to change their way of doing things. Many have developed a system that works and want to stick with it. In fact, the gardening market is notoriously slow to accept new technology. Add to this the changes in watering cycles, medium requirements, heat management, and talk of light frequencies and wavelengths involved in a new light source and you get quite a bit of information to take in. Not everyone can spend their day researching grow lights. It may surprise you to know that many people actually dislike reading through pages and pages of technical information. Why not simplify? Here is what can go wrong. If your bar is too close to your plants they will shut down or stretch away from the light. Follow the manufacturer's recommended hanging height for the model you are using. Do not over water. Evaporation rates are greatly diminished under LED's. Use a porous medium and make sure there is air circulation. This will decrease your chances of mold or mildew. Remember there is only a negligible amount of heat coming out of the bars. Monitor root zone temperatures. And if you really want to make use of the additional light your plants are receiving- supplement CO2.--AL Consider this a cliff note.--AL |
