  Free Electricity Challenge
The shift to all LED lighting is driven in large part by the need for
efficiency.  The problem is, the word “efficient” has become such a catch
phrase with LEDs that many people don’t realize that there are vastly
different levels of efficiency from one array to the next.   When I explain that
LGM lighting is the most efficient plant lighting on the planet- it sounds like
marketing jargon.  The purpose of our “Free Electricity Challenge” is to help
you understand just how efficient our LED products are.
I challenge every lighting company on the planet
to do what I’m about to do.  Anyone who orders 4 or
more LGM3 or LGM540 bars through
    www.led-grow-master.com  will receive an automatic
rebate to cover the cost of the electricity consumed
by the LEDs for one year.  The rebate will be applied
to all qualifying purchases from March 15th through
April 15th 2011.  The rebate is based on the
assumption that clients will run their LGM plant
lighting for 24 hours a day and 365 days a year.
The cost of electricity will be calculated as .10 cents
per kWh (the average price of electricity in the USA).
If you think that free electricity is no big deal- let
me put it in perspective by showing why I doubt that
there is another lighting company who would accept
my challenge. The cost of  electricity to run one
1,000 watt HID bulb such as HPS or MH for 24 hours
a day and 365 days a year-  over $876.00.  The cost
    of electricity to run a 4 fixture, 4’, T5 system for 24
hours a day and 365 days a year- over $189.00.
While it should come as no surprise that the
traditional bulbs are eating up electricity- let’s do this
math against other LED plant lighting.  The cost of
electricity to run a single Sunshine Systems LED
GrowPanel Pro for 24 hours a day 365 days a year- over $262.00.   The
cost of running one LED Supernova for 24 hours a day and 365 days a
year- over $236.00.  Why are we able to offer a rebate that would put our
competitors out of business?  The cost of  electricity to run 4 LGM540 bars,
24 hours a day, and 365 days a year is a mere $32.00.  LED Grow Master
lighting is the most efficient lighting on the planet.  It’s not jargon- it’s smart
engineering that results in conserved resources and money in your pocket.

    We've Been Around the Block
Many people consider LED plant lights a new technology.  For most
LED array's on the market this would be accurate.  It is a stretch to assume
this applies to LGM.  It's true that LED's are advancing at a rapid pace which
means new versions are introduced on a regular basis.  The idea that there
is a question as to whether or not LED's have proven themselves as a viable
source of light for your plants should no longer be in question.   The original
purpose of this very newsletter was to share what has transpired since LED
plant lighting was first introduced to the public by SolarOasis.
The LED Gardener has provided over 125 articles on LED plant
lighting.  This year marks the 5 year anniversary of the newsletter which
should be a good indication that
our LEDs have been in use for at
least that long.  It all boils down to
perception.  In the long run, if 5
years ago still qualifies as new to
you- simply take it back to the
                                                                    SolarOasis patent application.  If
almost 10 years ago is still new to
you than take it back to when
SolarOasis first made their mark in
LEDs almost 20 years ago. If 20 years old still qualifies as new technology
based on your perception- we are new; but still proven in commercial,
research, and hobby applications throughout the world.  LED Grow Master
lighting has been around the block. --AL
