Not unlike HID lighting, the coverage of your LED grow lighting will depend upon the mounting height of the
bar.  Your mounting height will be determined by the light requirements of your plants as well as your plant's
access to natural sunlight or other forms of artificial lighting.  Determining the ideal distance to mount each
model will require some trial and error on your part.  We recommend that you begin by mounting the bars at the
maximum recommended height for the model you are using to allow plants to adjust to the quality wavelengths
emitted from our LED plant lights.
(See mounting height recommendations here.)  Your plants should grow
vertically to a point (remaining compact).  For more vertical growth simply move bars back to maximum
recommended mounting height.

As a general rules of thumb:
Estimated coverage area as primary lighting for each LGM1/LGM3 is a 1’ x 3’ area (30cm x 90cm).
Approximate coverage for the LGM5 is 1.25’ x 3.75’ (38cm x 114cm).

As supplemental lighting (greenhouse) the LGM5 is recommended, allowing approximately 1.5’ x 4.5’
(46cm x 137cm) of coverage out of each bar.

Over low light greenhouse plants such as most lettuces micro greens and herbs, an 8ft LEDstick
containing 4 LGM5 bars will cover up to 5ft x 10ft plot, as pictured to the right.  Divide the square feet
of your grow plot by 50 for the total number of  LEDsticks needed for your lettuce/herb greenhouse,
and divide by 24 for total LEDsticks required for tomato/pepper greenhouse crops. (1000sq ft needs
20 LEDsticks over lettuce/herbs, and 41 LEDsticks over tomatoes/peppers.)  Please call for
